Abstract Number: 433 Working Group: Instrumentation and Methods
Abstract Sub-10 nm particles from DPF diesel and gasoline DI cars were observed using PMP methodology with condensation particle counters (CPC) which lower 50 % detection limits are 2.5, 10 and 23 nm. We observed sub-10 nm particles emissions specific to diesel and gasoline DI cars. These particles are not only affected by engine type, but also the setting of PMP system. We also conducted real time particle size distribution measurement to discuss the nature of observed sub-10 nm particles.
