Introduction to personalized event scheduling

We are pleased to introduce a new process for creating a personalized schedule of events at the 2024 AAAR conference. This new functionality simplifies the process of choosing events to attend, and it seemlessly integrates with the existing abstract submission site and program.

Your personalized schedule of events can be created at MyProgram. There you will find links to Select Events, View MyProgram, and Email Personalized Program along with different ways of selecting events by date, by topic, and by author.

Frequently asked questions for creating a custom program

What is the process for making a personalized schedule of events? How do I see available events and access my personal schedule?

After logging in to aaarabstracts.com, you will be presented with icons at the top of the page to view available events and access your personalized program. There you can check on events that you are planning to attend and create a custom schedule for yourself. Checking any event automatically saves it to your personalized schedule, which you can view separately from the master schedule.


Why is there a new process this year?

The new process eliminates the need to install a mobile app and integrates data from the program with scheduling functionality. This was implemented to simplify the process for conference attendees and organizers.


Do I need to save my selections?

No. Once you check or un-check an event, it is automatically added or removed from your personalized schedule.


Is there a phone app?

No, the need for downloading and installing an app has been eliminated. The scheduling functionality is now fully integrated as a web app at aaarabstracts.com.


Can I view my schedule offline?

You will have the option of saving your schedule or emailing it to yourself for offline use. You must be connected to the internet to update your schedule. There will be wi-fi access provided by the conference facilities.


What happens to my schedule if an event is cancelled, moved, or replaced?

Each year there are numerous changes that occur to the program leading up to the conference. Sometimes a talk will be cancelled and replaced with another talk previously scheduled for a different time slot. When an event is cancelled, it will be automatically removed from your schedule. If you have selected an event that is moved from one time slot to another, the selected event will remain on your schedule, but in the new time slot. If you happen to have another event you planned for the same new time slot, you will become double-booked for both events.


Can I double-book two events at the same time?

Yes, we included the ability to select multiple events at the same time to allow for flexibility in identifying what interests you most.


Can I share my personalized program with someone else?

You can email your personalized program to yourself using the icon in the top right toolbar, and then forward it to another person if you want to share your schedule.


Can I select talks by author/speaker, topic, or session?

Yes, all these functionalities are available. To see events within a session, please use the by date function.


Until when will the personalized schedules be available?

We plan to preserve the scheduling information until December 31 after the conference ends.


What platforms are supported by the scheduling process?

The scheduling functionality works through any web browser, and thus is available on any Internet-connected computer, tablet, or mobile phone.
